Hidden Valley has been owned by the Talkington Family since 1986.   Before that, Tom Talkington Sr. had been the Head Pro at some of the most prestigious private clubs in Michigan, including Barton Hills C.C. in Ann Arbor.   Tom Sr. has been a PGA professional since 1948 and graduated from Wayne State University with a degree in Accounting.

Tom Talkington Jr. was the Head Pro at Riverside Country Club in Battle Creek, Michigan before he and his father purchased Hidden Valley.   Tom Jr. has been a PGA professional since 1980.   Tom Jr. holds a degree from Florida International University in Hotel and Restaurant Management..  Tom Jr. also is a certified diver with over 500 dives in exotic locations such as the Truk Lagoon, the Caribbean and other sites around the world.
